Huawei Cloud announced a global rollout of new enterprise artificial intelligence products and infrastructure at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai. Dr. Peter Zhou, Director of the Board at Huawei and CEO of Huawei Cloud, delivered a keynote on September 18, 2026. The presentation outlined the company's strategy to strengthen the silicon bedrock on the cloud for agentic artificial intelligence.
The keynote featured the global launch of the AI Cluster Service. This service includes a five-level fast recovery mechanism and full-chain observability. It supports more than 40 days of stable training on the cloud and handles fault recovery within 10 minutes. The architecture delivers 20 percent higher token throughput than previous compute services through optimized scheduling, cache, and algorithms. The AI Cluster Service becomes commercially available in China on September 30 and in markets outside China on November 30.
Huawei Cloud also introduced the Context Memory Storage solution to handle memory capacity and access efficiency for long-horizon agent tasks. The system provides a petabyte-scale memory space and high-speed terabyte-scale memory reads. The platform delivers twice the storage capacity and 50 percent higher performance than comparable industry products.
The company defined Agentic Infra as a new paradigm built around efficient tokens, enhanced memory, unified general and AI scheduling, and secure autonomy. This infrastructure framework has already served more than 3,500 customers. The Agentic Model as a Service platform allows developers to invoke state-of-the-art models from leading providers with one click without deployment. MiniMax demonstrated its multimodal model during the event to highlight these open capabilities.
Huawei Cloud advances its enterprise-grade agent platform through commercial and open-source models using AgentArts and openJiuwen. The platform opens up more than 5,000 general Model Context Protocol assets and over 1,000 industry-specific assets. More than 100 customers currently use the platform, including the Shenzhen Longgang District Government, China Southern Power Grid, Guangzhou Laboratory, University of Science and Technology of China, Kingsoft Office, Sichuan Yingu Carbon Sink Renewable Resources, Changsha Thunder Cloud Network Technology, and KingMed Diagnostics.
Kingsoft Office shared implementation details during the event. By integrating the agent platform with WPS 365 Document Center and WPS Comate, the company built vertical office agents deployed across government and financial sectors. Huawei Cloud confirmed that AgentArts will reach markets outside China on December 30. The openJiuwen open-source community has surpassed 50,000 stars and 3.29 million downloads.
The Industry AI Foundry organizes scenarios, models, data, knowledge, and agents into reusable industry capabilities. The foundry includes five original zones covering smart healthcare, embodied AI, AI for science, smart manufacturing, and smart finance. These assets account for more than 1,000 industry assets and over 1,000 deployed projects.
Two new zones joined the Industry AI Foundry. The Smart Government Zone launched with 24 founding partners across government operations, public services, urban governance, and industry development. The AI Hardware Zone onboarded 15 core partners covering over 20 device types, including AI glasses, AI toys, and AI recording cards, alongside scenario templates and skills.
Huawei CONNECT 2026 runs from September 17 to 19 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and Shanghai Expo Center. The event focuses on strategy, technology, and ecosystems in artificial intelligence. Commercial availability dates for the newly announced hardware and software services extend through the end of 2026.
