Eight Australian Startups Selected to Pitch at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield Sydney

Eight Australian startups have earned a spot on the Startup Battlefield stage at Stripe Tour Sydney on August 19. These companies will pitch for $15,000 in Stripe fee credits, investor attention, and a spot in the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco.

These selected companies represent the future of Australian technology across diverse sectors. The lineup spans enterprise tech, health and wellness tech, and entertainment and media. Three participants will win prizes, and one will advance to San Francisco. All eight will pitch before investors, press, and the local tech community at the event.

Doomers AI assists technology companies in making product launches trend on the platform X. It achieves this by orchestrating a vetted network of creators that reaches buyers who use ad blockers. Startup equ helps health and wellness businesses deliver personalized nutrition at scale. It embeds its artificial intelligence engine, which is built on ten years of data and more than 100,000 users, directly into partner products.

LeadStory operates as the video intelligence layer for the next generation of screens. It surfaces exact video moments from sports, news, and finance clips to answer natural language queries. Preve helps physical therapy clinics improve patient retention and clinical outcomes. It automates the creation of treatment plans and monitors patient adherence.

Isabelle Johannessen, Director of Startup Battlefield, will host and MC the competition. Isabelle leads Startup Battlefield as TechCrunch's launchpad for early-stage startups. She scouts founders across more than 99 countries and prepares them to pitch on the Disrupt stage in front of global media and investors. Before joining TechCrunch, she designed and led international startup acceleration programs across Japan, Korea, Italy, and Spain.
