Meta is expanding the capabilities of its Muse AI agent to target small business owners. The company introduced the updated platform just weeks after launching the AI agent for general consumers.
Muse connects to professional Meta accounts
The updated agent can connect directly to professional Instagram and Facebook accounts. This access lets Muse review advertising accounts and social media analytics. The system can provide insights and execute tasks tied to social media campaigns.
Third-party software integrations expand tasks
Meta has added support for numerous external tools. Supported services include Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe, and Zoom. Business owners can link these applications to let the agent process external data and handle larger operational goals.
Meta suggests several prompts for the updated agent. Users can ask the tool to evaluate monthly financial performance, manage overflowing emails and calendars, or analyze annual sales to build a growth plan.

Privacy risks and pricing models apply
Connecting operational data to Meta carries familiar risks. Meta states that Muse includes privacy and security layers, but acknowledges the agent can still behave unpredictably or misinterpret instructions.
Muse Small Business remains free for most standard needs, though intensive usage may require a subscription. The release follows Meta establishing a new enterprise business to sell artificial intelligence services to large corporations.
