AI recruiting software startup Metaview Labs Inc. raised $60 million in a Series C funding round announced today. Insight Partners led the round. GV, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Intrepid Growth Partners, Plural, and Garuda Ventures also participated. The company has raised $110 million in total to date.
Former Uber Technologies Inc. and Palantir Technologies Inc. employees Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh founded Metaview in 2018. Magos serves as chief executive, and Tajbakhsh serves as chief technology officer. Magos stated in a blog post that the industry is ready for a Claude Code moment. He compared the evolution of software engineers orchestrating AI agents to recruiters following the same path.
AI agents automate recruitment tasks
Metaview developed AI agents that automate recruitment tasks from creating job ads to sourcing, screening, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial interviews. Magos reported that Metaview agents have conducted over 6 million interviews. After interviews finish, agents transform responses into usable notes for human reviewers to create shortlists. Humans set the interview questions and job qualification criteria first.
Magos highlighted an urgent need for automated recruitment because hiring is hard work with minimal technology use. Companies scale recruitment teams during spikes and dismantle them later, which Magos called expensive and painful. He added that applications per recruiter increased 412 percent as more people look for work. Metaview claims more than 7,000 companies currently use its AI agents.

Customers include Deel, Affirm, and Replit Inc., which reduced their average time-to-hire by more than 75 percent. Metaview launched an autonomous recruiting agent named fillmore that operates within Slack. Fillmore researches candidates, constructs target lists, generates personalized emails, manages follow-up conversations, and schedules meetings.
Metaview plans to expand its team
Metaview focuses on three major priorities following the funding. The first priority expands the platform with more specialized recruiting agents. The second priority includes opening a New York City office and expanding the team from about 80 people to more than 250 staff by the end of next year. The third priority expands the 10x Recruiting program to train human recruiters in artificial intelligence skills.
