Startup Dodge AI Inc. secured $2.65 million in seed funding on September 29, 2026. The funding round was co-led by Accel and the Google AI Futures Fund. Schema Ventures, New Build Ventures, Antler, and angel investors from the SAP SE ecosystem also participated in the round.
The startup aims to disrupt the enterprise firefighting industry valued at $600 billion. Large organizations spend heavily on external consultants to maintain corporate software platforms like Salesforce and SAP. These platforms require extensive upkeep because they form the operational backbone of modern enterprises.
Customizations complicate software maintenance
Companies often add thousands of custom rules and configurations to their basic software deployments over the years. This buildup creates technical debt and undocumented fixes. Most organizations hire systems integrators like IBM or Accenture to assign teams of 20 to 50 people for support and everyday operations. Co-founder and Chief Executive Rebhav Bharadwaj noted that companies become overly reliant on these human consultants to understand their own software.
Artificial intelligence agents automate repairs
Dodge AI developed a control plane governed by artificial intelligence agents to overlay across platforms like SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics. The system identifies root causes, recommends fixes, and documents all changes and custom logic. Bharadwaj stated that the agents resolve issues faster than human teams while capturing trapped knowledge.
Context graphs map business processes
The platform uses an exception intelligence context graph to connect legacy systems, enterprise resource planning configurations, and business processes. Dodge AI claims it already convinced several large enterprises to replace human consultants with its agents. The technology handles hundreds of queries per hour and resolves problems within minutes that previously took hours or days.
Dodge AI helped one customer fix a warehouse loading failure caused by an incorrect Goods Receipt Note in minutes. It also made an SAP inventory planning process 132 times faster for another client. Accel investor Prayank Swaroop stated that application maintenance remains one of the least modernized segments of enterprise technology.
The company plans to use its understanding of custom logic to help companies accelerate digital transformations without breaking critical systems. Dodge AI will next deploy its funding to scale operations and expand its agent network.
