Automation Anywhere Inc. announced an agreement on Wednesday to acquire Boost.ai Inc. from Nordic Capital. The acquiring firm specializes in enterprise agentic automation and orchestration. Boost.ai brings conversational voice artificial intelligence technology to the buyer. The purchase aims to extend automation into customer experience operations.
Boost.ai brings regulated sector reach
Boost.ai currently serves hundreds of customer organizations. The company maintains a strong base in Europe and regulated sectors. Many clients operate within financial services, telecommunications, and insurance. The platform supports over 36 languages. It ensures message security and privacy while complying with Europe's General Data Protection Regulation and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Boost.ai maintains more than 650 deployments and approximately 600 live AI agents. It has supported over 150 million automated conversations. Notable customers include Nordea Bank Adp, Credit Union of Colorado, DNB Bank ASA, and Trading 212.
Executive leadership outlines strategy
Automation Anywhere seeks to build an autonomous enterprise operating model. The firm wants businesses to run up to 80 percent autonomously or with AI assistance. Chief Executive Mihir Shukla stated that enterprises run on serving customers, supporting employees, and running the business. Shukla noted that the combined company intends to provide a leading offering that listens, decides, and acts across all three domains.

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Ankur Kothari emphasized that real transformation happens when enterprises redesign work around outcomes. This transaction follows Automation Anywhere's acquisition of Aisera Inc. in late 2025. The company stated that combining these platforms creates a complete market offering for autonomous office work.
Voice artificial intelligence market grows
Voice artificial intelligence remains a maturing market. Traditional contact centers handle a large volume of voice agent tasks through existing telephony infrastructure. Astute Analytica estimated the AI voice agent market reached $3 billion in 2025. The report projected growth to $45.1 billion by 2035, with customer support experience automation leading the market share.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms or closing date of the agreement.
