Flow Engineering announced on Wednesday that it secured a $50 million Series B funding round. The investment values the three-year-old artificial intelligence startup at $750 million.

Valar Equity Partners and Atreides Management co-led the financing round. Antonio Gracias represented Valar Equity Partners, while Gavin Baker represented Atreides Management. Sequoia Capital also participated in the round after previously leading the company's Series A financing last October.

Former Sequoia partner Roelof Botha joined the funding round as an individual investor. Botha also secured a seat on the board of directors for Flow Engineering.

Investors backed Elon Musk backers

Valar Equity Partners holds a known portfolio of investments in companies founded by Elon Musk, including SpaceX. Atreides Management also backs companies linked to Musk alongside other technology firms such as AI chipmaker Cerebras.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Flow Engineering builds artificial intelligence agents. These digital tools automate the process of aligning computer-aided design drawings with product requirements, simulation results, and testing data.

Hardware makers use the software

The startup lists several prominent manufacturing and aerospace enterprises among its current customers. Its client roster includes Anduril, Rivian, Joby Aviation, and Stoke Space.

Additional customers include General Motors PPU, which operates as a joint venture between General Motors and TWG Motorsports. RV Tech, a joint venture involving Rivian and Volkswagen, also uses the platform.
